Just needs a little work

So my wife came in this morning and told me I’d better go look at my ‘76 Buick Electra, because my passive aggressive elderly neighbor parked up against it.

I go out and see this.

I ask him (very nicely, no yelling) to please move his truck a little so I can look and see if anything is damaged. No appreciable damage, but as he gets in and backs his truck off a few inches He says “Don’t play games with me, I am NOT a person to play games with.”

WTF?

The Buick visibly settled back on the suspension when he moved the truck, and it looks like there were tire marks near his back tires (trying to push it? If so, It didn’t work). The bumper shock was a little compressed, but sprang back out when he moved. The pinched gap at the bumper filler opened back up, too- no permanent damage that I could see.

Just thought I’d share. It’s been over 4 hours and I’m still shaking my head in disbelief. The thing that really gets me is that I know that if he came out and found MY car so much as touching HIS, I’d have cops knocking on my door.

Trying to keep calm, but I’m not sure how to deal with this crap. For right now I’ve decided to take the high road and act like it never happened.
